Sophie King’s novel The School Run was a recent top ten Kindle bestseller and #1 in Amazon’s Women Writers and Fiction chart. It was also chosen as one of Chick Lit Central’s favourite novels of 2012.

But will two resentful stepchildren, and failed attempts to have a baby of her own, get in the way of her dream happy ending? And what would her husband David make of her secret shame from the past?
As each of these neighbours faces their own challenges, their lives are about to become entwined in ways they never could have expected.

I received these books in exchange for honest reviews. These stories are told from so many different points of view. At first I thought I would have trouble connecting to the each of the characters, but it was actually really fun and refreshing seeing how each character viewed things. Each book has their own plot, but you’ll find that Sophie’s way with telling a great story is always the same. I loved the characters in The School Run best, but each book had more than their far shares of ups, downs, laughs, and tears. I highly recommend picking up the box set and taking them on vacation and they will keep you entertained for your whole trip. These 3 star books will be great beach reads, xo!
