And no, it’s not reservations. A couple weeks ago, I was making small shells for dinner. I didn’t want them with sauce or with just butter so I decided to make…garlic butter! It’s ridiculously easy and the best part is you can use it for anything. A spread for bread (hehe, I’m a poet, don’t ya know it? Okay, okay, I’ll stop.), to coat your chicken, or to jazz up your pasta. Here’s the easiest recipe you’ll ever read.
- 1 tbps & 1 tsp butter or maragine
- 1 tsp of minced garilc
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2-1 tsp of black pepper (depending on your taste, I used a tsp)
Add the butter, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper to a small sauce pan. Put on medium heat and stir until butter is melted. Remove from heat and continue to stir. If you’re using it for pasta, add the cooked pasta to the pan to coat. Add some grated parm cheese and serve!
Let me know what you’d use garlic butter for or if you have a simple, easy recipe you’d like to share, xo!
