Three Obsessions!

1_OWater in the flavor mandarin orange. This stuff is seriously so good..am I eating an orange or am I drinking water? It’s hard to tell cause it’s so so so yummy! I have only found it at Stop and Shop so far.

2_Rick Nash from the New York Rangers. Oh goodness. I have a full blown crush. He is not only a really great hockey player, but he is GORGEOUS. Like so handsome. I would let him do unimaginable things. That being said, here’s a top 10 countdown of some of his best goals. They’re all amazing, but the 4th one may be my favorite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKUsFdZanZY

3_Simply Olay Simply Nature Coconut Milk Body Wash. This stuff is so thick and smells delicious. A little goes a long way and it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and silky. It’s a new product and I hope they keep it around for a while, cause I’m hooked!

Until tomorrow, Xo.

Wacky Wednesday!

Growing up I was a huge Rugrats fan, last spring someone (he who shall remain nameless…or Zoey’s dead-beat dad.) showed me this article and my whole world was shattered. (Okay, not my whole world, but it definitely made me think WTF?!) I’m a huge psychology lover, so I actually ended up believing a lot this article because all the theories made a lot of sense. See for yourself here. Pretty crazy right?! Xo.

Mascara Review #2

Week Two

Buxom Lash Waterproof in Blackest Black

s1437458-main-Lhero

Pros;

  1. The brush made it easy to reach all the hard to get small lashes.
  2. Gave great volume.
  3. The formula was in between soft and thick. (Not sure if this a pro or a con actually.)
  4. Holds a curl.
  5. Stayed on when I cried. (Okay, I’m normally not a huge crier, but during this process of trying new mascaras, I’ve actually cried every time I wear a new one. And no, I’m not crying because of trying a new mascara..)

Cons;

  1. Made my lashes kinda clumpy at the ends. (Even tho it claims to be a clump free formula.)
  2. Hard to get all of it off. Even after washing with the wipes and baby shampoo (still my secret weapon!), the dark black color was visible.

To me, this mascara is a good one for day and night. Last week’s (you can see that post here, https://k718.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/mascara-review/) I felt was better for day or to build on. I would recommend the Buxom Lash to anyone who likes a dark black volumizing mascara. If you’re looking for fuller, a little longer, dark lashes, then head over to here to purchase; http://www.sephora.com/buxom-lash-waterproof-mascara-P374159?skuId=1437458

Keep fluttering those lashes, Xo.

Quick Questions…

Do you like scary, plot twists?

Are you a fan of Edgar Allan Poe’s work?

Do you like tv shows that feel like movies?

Do you like thrillers and mystery?

Do you want a new show to become instantly hooked on?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you absolutely need to check out ‘The Following’ on FOX. It airs Monday nights at 9pm est. It’s by far the best new show of 2013! Enjoy, Xo.

A Book (or two..) In Review

divergent-insurgent

For the past two weeks, I read ‘Divergent’ (again) and ‘Insurgent’ both by Veronica Roth. And let me just start by saying, I can not, CAN NOT, wait for the third book to come out this fall. If you’re a fan of ‘The Hunger Games’, then you should definitely look into reading this series. The books take place in the far future, in what was Chicago, and society as we know it today doesn’t exist. The government in the book has taken the flaws of the society of the past and divided people into factions according to 5 different characteristics. Each faction holds a purpose for the city to run smoothly and work together. Once you turn 16, you are allowed to pick what faction you’d like to continue your life in, you can stay with your family in the one you were raised or switch. In the first book, the main character, Beatrice Prior, has now come to decide the fate of her future. In the second book, you learn more about the government and what really is the root of all evil in each faction. (I don’t want to give anything away, I despise spoilers!) I will say this about the second book tho, the author does a great job of picking up where the first book left off, she doesn’t go on to explain all you missed if you didn’t read the first book (which as an avid reader, I apperciate. I don’t need the back story, I read books in order…Side story; growing up I was obsessed with ‘The Baby Sitter’s Club’ and in every book, chapter 2 was dedicated to how the club got started and who was who. Needless to say, after reading the first book, I skipped chapter 2 in all the other books.) I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes a great story. It really gets your imagination going and the characters suck you in.

I’ve decided to make a goal and try to read one book every week of the year. So far I’m on track, I’ll be starting my 5th book of the year this week! Happy Reading, Xo.
