Wishful Wednesday.
Here’s somethings I would love to have.
This Cashmere bathrobe would be amazing on a cold day to just cuddle up in and watch movies.
As classic quilted Chanel purse.
A spa day with babytooth, full of facials, massages, and mimosas.
A whole box of different macaroons.
Love to be wishful. Til tomorrow, stay sweet, xo!

A Book In Review.
Brief Summary:
Beth Thomas has the perfect life. At thirty-five, she’s married to her college sweetheart, has two adorable kids, and teaches part time at the local university. But when a friend persuades Beth to go dancing on a rare night out, a chance meeting with twenty one year old Dave, one of her former students, changes the course of her life. Loud music, too much to drink, and the thrill of feeling young again lead to an unforgettable kiss that was never supposed to happen. As she tries to put the memory behind her, Dave’s pursuit leaves Beth torn between what her mind says is right and what her heart and body crave.
Review:
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The internal struggle that the main character, Beth, goes through is so real it becomes painful for the reader at times. I don’t mean that in a bad way at all. I just mean it’s raw and real and makes the story so emotional. Beth’s journey at balancing her life and herself is captivating. I’ve had the same thoughts and conversations with myself at times, not about the same exact things, but it’s still a battle to be inside your own head. I was rooting for Beth’s happiness from the beginning and began to think of her as my own friend. I couldn’t put the book down, I read it in a day. I just needed to know how it ended. I recommend this 4.5 star book to anyone who loves a good story who keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s a book that would be perfect for your next book club too, cause it could start conversations that could flow for hours. Xo.

A tribute…
To one of my most favorite things, ever. *nsync!
I can’t even begin to describe what those 5 guys meant to me growing up. I was obsessed with them. I saw them 9 times in concert and each time was better than the last. I was the definition of a “fangirl” wayyyyy before it was such a thing. My walls were covered with posters, mostly of Jt, but I had a bunch of group shots too. 3 out of 5 of them touched my hand (yes, Justin was one of them…#swoon) So you can imagine what happened to me when I read the news about tonight’s reunion VMA performance. I’ll admit it. I cried. At work, in my cubicle. Yes, you read that right, I’m 29 and I cried at work cause of a boy band. But I want you all to realize this. I always have at least one of the cds in my 6 disc player in the car, I thinking about watching popoddyessy live on dvd at least once a week, and I will still get into a scrap with anyone who thinks BSB is better. *nsync is one of those things that still can put a huge smile on my face. The boys will forever be one of my most fave things and probably my most fave music act. I’m not one to ever wish away a day off, but come on 9pm, get here already! Xo.

It’s Five-day!
Alright, I’ve decided to change “These are my obsessions” to “It’s Five-day!” which will be a post on Friday of five things from the week. Clearly, this is a work in progress. But I think this will stick…anyway on to the post!
I had a busy week with the anniversary of my Grandma’s passing, the birth of my best friend, Dana’s little girl, and rafting & zip lining with my co-workers as a team building event. Phew, this weekend I’m looking forward to sushi with Dawn & Sara and the VMAs on Sunday. My fingers, eyes, legs, toes, nose, arms are all crossed that the rumors are true, about a certain 5 guys performing 😉
This picture I found on google has been my phone background all week in honor of my Grandma. It makes me smile each time I see it.
Spicy Chicken Cup of Noodles and peach mango green tea with fresh peaches are the perfect lunch combo.
I’ve been in love with height on the crown of the head for ponytails. And this one that Ali Fedotowsky instagramed has to be my most favorite. I need to know how to add that height to my ponytail asap.
Avianna Marae is the most gorgeous newborn. I’m so in love with this peanut, I can’t wait to teach her about all things girly!
A cool ranch Doritos loco taco was a perfect dinner after paddling down a river all day. Until next time, Xo!

4pm pick me up!
When this came on at my concert, I lost my mind. (Okay, I was insane the whole time, but anyways…) It’s my two fave Jay Z songs and of course JT. Turn it up. Xo!
p.s. This is not my video. All of mine have me singing way to loud to share 😉
Fave Fall-Fashion
Fall fashion to me means boots, sweaters, scarves, darker nail polishes, and hats. I’m obsessed with each of these looks. And cannot wait to have each of the Essie polishes from the fall collection. Infact, I just purchased ‘cashmere bathrobe’ yesterday. Let me know some of your fave trends for fall, I’m always looking for new, fun things to try. Til manana, Xo!
A Book In Review.
In a “Bachelor” meets “Survivor”-style reality TV show, twelve women are flown to an undisclosed location to meet the eligible bachelor Ky, a former boy band member and the privileged son of an LA plastic surgeon. After arriving at a beautiful resort in Bali, the women compete for a chance at love as they fight to win Ky’s affection. Morgan, the blunt, down-to-earth, girl next door; Harper, a wannabe Hollywood starlet who is competing not only for her fifteen minutes of fame but to win enough money for breast implants; and Brinkley, the innocent, Jesus-loving Midwesterner who believes that she and Ky are a match made in heaven, must go head-to-head with nine other women on group dates and in challenges to stay in the competition.
Review:
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Okay, so we all know how “Bachelor” obsessed I am. I mean, my favorite celeb, next to Khloe, was from a season of the Bachelor. So when I read the preview of this book, I knew I had to read it. I was sucked in from the first word and could not wait to see what happened. It got a little confusing at times keep all the girls in line, but trust me it will suck you in. I had fun traveling around with the contestants. If you like the Bachelor franchise, then pick up this book and I promise it’ll tide you over til the next season. It does a good job of describing the struggles the contestants must go through. This 3.5 star book will be the perfect end of summer read or save it for a snowy day. Til tomorrow, Xo.
