thank god, it’s friday (night) & I just got paid.

Ah, there is nothing like payday Friday!! I had a fun week actually, I may have even met a very cute boy at some point this week… 😉 Wedding tomorrow and watching btooth’s family ride in a hot air balloon Sunday! red carpet style; VMAs.

For music’s funest night, I would wear this gorgeous gold mini dress. The hot pink tassles on the bottom scream VMA’s to me. It’s the right amount of sparkle and pop of color. I’d keep my accessories pretty neutral. Same with my nails and lips, a nice baby pink for both. The gold in my eye makeup would help pull the look together. Throw my hair into a casual pony and I think I have the right look for the night. A little bit of over the top, but enough casualness to make it look like I didn’t try too hard. Product Review

Sigh, I was underwhelmed by this duo. I wanted to like it more than I did. Granted, I only have tried it once, but the way it made my hair feel just wasn’t for me. I have pretty knotty hair when I get out of the shower as it is and this made it 100 times worse. My aunt ended up combing out my hair for me and it took a good 5 minutes. My hair didn’t feel clean and my beach waves didn’t look much different. I will try it again at some point. If I have a different opinion after, I’ll let ya know! Xo.

Red Carpet Style!

For this last night’s Billboard Music Awards, I went bright and Springy. The bright orange dress with a back cutout would be a perfect pop of color. Add in some gold accessories and  a white clutch and I’d be good to go.

Red Carpet Style & Big Met Gala Recap!

It must be fashion week here on kc&bo, but I don’t hate it! Here’s what I would’ve worn to the 2014 Met Gala.

 

This dress is made for a Princess. That’s what I love about the Met Gala, everyone looks like royalty. I’d keep it so simple with my jewels, I’d layer 3 different Tiffany’s bracelets and wear the gorgeous Tiffany scroll earrings.

 

Very simple for the makeup as well. I think the dress is the drama for the night and the deep red definitely gives drama. I love the simple silver nails and highlighted inner corners on the eyes. The hair would be up and out of my face so you can really see the earrings. Nude lips would make this complete. Let me know whatcha think, xo!

natural hair, don’t care?

 

I never thought I’d show a photo like this on my blog, but yet here it is. A couple of weeks ago, I got up very late and knew I had to wash my hair before work. So I opted for a wet braid and got many complements on it, which threw me off. I prefer my hair to be straightened and look the same everyday, but here it is after I took the braid out. No product in it at all. I have naturally wavy hair so the braid kind help to make everything more even. I don’t think I’d every wear my hair out like this with nothing at all in it, but you never know. Let me know what you think of my au natural hair. Cya tomorrow loves, xo!

November Favorites!

Just writing that is crazy! How is possible we’re already in December?! Wow, time flies. Anywho, here’s a list of my fave things from last month!

1. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate from Dunkin. WOW-I can’t tell you how much I love it. It’s so delicious, I could honestly drink it everyday of the year.
2. Static Guard. Which is my secret weapon of the winter since my hair becomes static city. I just spray some on my paddle brush and brush threw my hair and I’m good to go for hours!
3. Be Enchanted lotion from Bath & Body Works. This stuff smells like winter and it makes me happy every time I put it on. (Not that I love winter, just the smells..)
4. Maybelline Fit in Poreclain. Obsessed with this little stick of wonder. It covers my skin nicely and it feels like a dream. Try it out, you’ll love it. You can use a darker color to contour as well.
5. thelaurenelizabeth.com has quickly become my favorite everyday blog. I’ve always gone to her site, but now I find myself making it my first stop.
6. John Frieda Sheer Blonde Everlasting Blonde Colour Preservation shampoo. Just got this one to try (I love all of the other products by him) and I really love how it’s keeping my new highlights. This is a must for anyone who dyes their hair blonde!
7.  I stumbled onto this article at the right time with the Holidays coming up. I hate being in pictures, but I will practice all of the tips to change that!
8. Fave song of the month had to be ‘Wrecking Ball‘ by Miley. I kinda hate to admit, but I loved to belt it.
9. Fave candle was of course Leaves from Bath & Body Works. So delish.

Red Carpet Style.

Here we are yet again, I’m “hitting” the red carpet! This time it’s for the CMAs, which as we know I don’t really follow country music, but I like to think of “celebrity K” as a red carpet slore. I’d go to every red carpet I could. So here’s what I’d rock tonight.

I’d go simple and chic for the dress and accessories. But I’d do a darker smoky eye with a messy, volumized pony. Think it would land me on a best dressed list? Let me know, Xo!
